The Todd Snyder Liquor Store occupies a small, dark storefront in Tribeca. Rather than brighten the room, we chose to deepen that character with dark green walls and millwork, reclaimed oak floors laid in herringbone, brass, mirrors, and low, warm light.
Parts of the store are intentionally left in shadow, allowing clothing and objects to emerge selectively within the room.
The result draws more from an old bar or neighborhood shop than contemporary retail, giving the small space an identity that feels particular to its Tribeca setting.
