Greg Dutton Studio

Greg Dutton grew up on his family’s cattle farm in southeastern Ohio, where an early interest in drawing and building led him to study architecture.

After college, his path moved between architecture and music. For more than a decade, Greg worked in design studios while touring and recording music – two pursuits that shaped his ideas about composition, collaboration, and making things.

In 2013, Greg co-founded Midland Architecture before later establishing Dutton Studio. Today, his work moves between architecture and interiors, houses and retail, rural Ohio and cities across the country.

His work has been recognized by the American Institute of Architects and published in Architectural Digest, The New York Times, Dwell, GQ, and other publications.

Kyle is a licensed architect who received his Bachelors and Masters Degrees from The Knowlton School at The Ohio State University. He joined GDS in April 2023 after working the previous 11 years in Columbus and NYC on a variety of residential and commercial project types.  Kyle believes architecture should invigorate and inspire. No matter the project scale, this can be achieved through the delicate composition of light and material. Delicate in that the simplest path is often the most successful. Kyle explores this idea in his architecture as well as through his furniture design and woodworking hobbies.

Megan received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Masters of Architecture from The Ohio State University.  While attending Knowlton School of Architecture, under the direction of architectural critic Jeffrey Kipnis, she was among a team whose project Piranesi Variations was featured in an exhibition at the 2012 Venice Architecture Biennale.  Megan started her post graduate career in New York City, renovating Brooklyn brownstones and Manhattan apartments.  A Florida native, she returned to the midwest with her husband, joining the firm in 2021.  She is a licensed architect in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Korry joined Greg Dutton Studio after several years working in Retail Design and Interior Architecture. He has extensive experience working with commercial spaces, as well as furniture and fixture design and construction. Korry is a native of Ohio and received his undergraduate degree from Miami University, followed by a masters degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Outside of the office, Korry enjoys spending time in the outdoors, tinkering, and spending time with family.

Breanna grew up in a century-old home, where her love for old, storied spaces began. She spent the early years of her career in the health and wellness field, gaining a unique understanding of the impact one’s environment can have on their wellbeing. Shortly after, she transitioned to Interior Design, honing her craft on high-end residential projects in Austin, Texas. Now, as a part of Greg Dutton Studio, she works to create spaces that honor the past and present, feeling timeless and alive.

Averi’s passion for design began at a very young age, where her exposure to architecture shaped her early understanding of the built environment. She went on to study Interior Design, where she earned her Bachelor’s of Science at The Ohio State University, with a minor in Fashion and Retail Studies. She has a passion for crafting intentional, soulful interiors rooted in honest materials and thoughtful detailing. Prior to joining Greg Dutton Studio, Averi developed experience in both commercial and high-end residential interior design.
